When I see this picture,it pricks deeply,For whenever there is visit of the Director of Education ,he suddenly moves in a class in school and tells the tips of learning to the students,it motivates lakhs of teachers ,because it has weight- age,In the same manner, the Director of Health services visits the Medical hospitals and his meetings bring a lot to society in return.But at the helm of affairs,the DG of police attacks the students in such a brutal way,what message does it convey that the police is a failure even today.In the face of people resorting to arms,Police sits back and other para-military forces come forward.Their demand of changing the Police rule of 1860 was accepted by the Govt,but still they are there where they were or rather more mature with the brutality and that too over the civilians .No doubt,the law and order demands mild use of lathicharge and other unavoidable means for the peace ,but a Sepoy is sufficient enough.The DG whose work is basically related to policy making and implementation comes to such a menial level surprises all.He is shown here as if he were treating a terrorist in whose presence the police fails and leaves the ground.Than Army is called,There is flood,call the army ,there is any problem of serious nature ,we are dependent on the Army and other wings and what they do ,Just go to police station,the application shall not be entertained ,until and unless there is pressure exerted.Secondly,the Police shall never give the receipt of the application given and thirdly,the crime is better not to be brought on the record,but left,for written information shall increase the burden.Yes,most of them are better on the posts and road-cross ,where transports and truck drivers are behaved in such a way that it makes everyone ashamed of and when atop ,people with this mentality shall lead the police force in state,The change is afar.A few years back,citing the fake encounter in a Meerut city ,the Hindustan Times wrote about the Police as :an organised force of Goondas"and still with this mentality ,work is gaining ground.Failed to protect the innocent people as the policemen killed journalist and only political leadership came in between.Still much is to be done for this force to revive the people's faith and work for their welfare.Since the CM is the icon of Youth ,such police men should be out ,or the the coming generation shall never excuse us.Also this blot shall remain for all the time to come,where it was.Hence condemned this act on the part of DG.
