090--------------------It was early in the morning today that I woke up and felt quite interested to know about what friends have posted after the gap of few days,For I went to my home in village(country side), where I spent my nights in the absence of light and experienced the true reality that the life in the villages is becoming critical, instead of improving. A little rise in the vegetables and grains upsets every one and protests and criticism of the Govt. take place, Nobody in actuality, talks of farmers’ problems. Only increase in the salary package is becoming a tradition .The areas some-wherelse are flooded and in western UP the crop is on the verge of drying –up. The small canals are not clean yet and water is not reaching to the fields. This is complete failure on the part of the officials from the Deptt .of Irrigation at the local level ;making the state machinery a failure and creating the unnecessary very difficult hardships before the poor peasants and farmers. The govt.issued orders earlier that all the officials must stay in the villages for at least oneday in a month so as to be familiar with the problems still existing and lying agap for the solution which is within the reach .
