एक बार एक अंग्रेज की सजा हो गई, जब वह जेल से निकला, निकलते ही उसने देखा कि एक व्यक्ति कई चिड़ियों को बंद किए हुए रखा था और उन्हें बेच रहा था ,उस व्यक्ति ने सारी चिड़िया खरीद ली और पैसे देने के बाद सभी को मुक्त कर दिया ,उसने कहा कि यही स्वतंत्रता का अर्थ है ,यह पिंजरे में नहीं, बल्कि स्वतंत्र एवं अनंत आसमान में रहने वाले पंछी है ठीक हम समझ सकते हैं कि हमारे पूर्वजों ने कितने कष्ट सहे 41 तरीके से उन्हें दुख दर्द दिया जाता था पढ़ कर और सुनकर हम लोग की रूह कांप जाती है और हमें आजादी दिलाई ,इसकी सुरक्षा संरक्षा करने की जिम्मेदारी हम सबकी है
