examination. Hence,What I shared at home and earlier is now to be shared
with you;more particularly to the students and those going to appear at
the forth coming competitive examination).

“I take this
opportunity to congratulate you on the successful competition of your days in
either the Vidyalaya or at your Center of the studies, where I am sure ,you
have left no stone un-turned in learning and making the best of your
time in developing your personality. Though we as teachers , might
not have been successful to the extent of your cherished dreams and aspirations
due to various limitations, but imparting the best of education and preparing
you for the forth- coming examination enriched us with the experience of enjoying
teaching-learning with you all each and every minute with the confidence
that "you are the one who will only succeed with brilliant achievements in the coming examination "and no doubt, we wait eagerly and keenly
for that moment to be enjoyed with you very soon".
I have found
below-mentioned tips which I think, may be useful to you during the course of
your preparation for the examination. It is to be remembered that these are
simply guidelines and do not carry any guarantee ,for the individual opinion
varies and differs from person to person :-
01--------------Work
on time with the feeling of Self-discipline. No. of hours spent is not
important, But what learnt in time is important.
02-------------Systematic
revision of the subject is essentially important. Extra time for Revision of
the most important and important with selective intensive studies is found
helpful, provided the stretch of the time span is less, otherwise wide
selective studies are always welcome.
03------------The
total understanding of the chapters prescribed need the through over-hauling during preparation.
04-----------No
Mental stress at all, for the man who wins is the man who thinks he can. This
is simply one of the tests which have been faced earlier too. The no. of the tests appeared
at so far fills in the spirit of,”””””I was ever a fighter, so one fight
more”
05----------After
60/90 minutes spent in studies at a stretch ,Break is essential. The
scientific tips given include a walk in the room, Standing out for a fresh air,
watching a programme of interest, laughter ,drinking something, or eating
something tasty or what not, or Lala Hardayal has said, ”the whole
exercise will be like pouring of the water on the ulta (topsy-turvy) pitcher
and within minutes leaving a few things retained, everything shall be
vaporized………”
06----------Take
light food and avoid the fast and junk food. The change of taste after the
intervals is no problem.
07----------Light
exercises with Yog and pranayam, humor and worship are
found helpful in reducing the tension and keeping us alert all the time.
08----------Facts
are to be learnt with understanding and sometimes learnt by heart too.
09---------The
nature of questions and papers may never disturb, if practiced and tried upon
earlier.
10---------The
room or place of studies is expected to be airy and with proper light according
to the need and adjustment.
11--------Revise
the notes or answers of the questions prepared again and again. The constant
revision will never let us fail in writing the answers effectively. The feeling
of knowing everything and over-confidence in the preparation puts on the
back-foot ,for Getting through or succeeding is easy ,but placing oneself
in the list of successful candidates demands no Mistake at all.
12--------The
technology has brought a drastic change. During sixties in 19th century, 90%people
took interest in reading the books and writing-practices ‘for being an exact
man.’.
But now that no.
is reduced to 10%.There is increase in the information ,but other than
compulsory necessity. the interest in writing is coming down day by day. For
retention properly. this skill is very-very important.
13-------The
sound sleep during the examination is a must. The correct posture is suggested
here.
14------Scan and
skip and also eye-reading keep mind alert and already prepared materials
remain afresh. This is just like a running movie , if seen earlier, shall
remind everything in the film in a moment .
15------When ; Read. Revise and express make it easy for better preparation.
16------The
hesitation, fear or examination-sickness need not to be figured.
17-------Never
be over-excited , when questions prepared earlier seem appearing
.Over-excitement sometimes disturbs and the level of confidence is wavered
which requires the correct approach .Here ,I found myself the chanting of a favorite mantra ;reduces the tension and diverts the mind.
18------Writing
lengthy answers ,if not asked is not encouraging ,until and unless felt
otherwise. The nature of the questions needs to be understood.
19------Do not
lose time over unnecessary work. The paper setter keeps the time schedule in
mind and hardly more time is given for answers to be written.
20-----Be
careful in writing the answers. Know the question first.
21----Avoid
confusion ,when guess is required. First answer is often found correct. The
Sub-conscious mind sort the things learnt earlier.
22-----The
copying puts the person under law-breaking activity. Hence, always to be
avoided.
23-----10
minute- time with peace is required for the correction which needs to be done
only when found with certainty.
24-----Never let
your mood go off .Do not think of those problems disturbing you time and again.
25-----After the
paper is over. The next paper needs the concentration.
One very striking feature to be stressed here is more or less related to the "Feel cool Temperament".Sitting on the chair and closing behind the study room is found to be very negatively disturbing,For Human life is human ,not a mechanical all the time.Talking,laughing,sharing ,caring ,eating or joking with friends etc. keep everything relaxing and maintaining.Time in the evening in particular or as per one's likes or dislikes invite the inclusion for a few minutes for effective study qualitatively.
One very striking feature to be stressed here is more or less related to the "Feel cool Temperament".Sitting on the chair and closing behind the study room is found to be very negatively disturbing,For Human life is human ,not a mechanical all the time.Talking,laughing,sharing ,caring ,eating or joking with friends etc. keep everything relaxing and maintaining.Time in the evening in particular or as per one's likes or dislikes invite the inclusion for a few minutes for effective study qualitatively.
